Whats happening in Rochester Minnesota

--Rochester has had the snowiest month ever this month! December is at 37.8 inches of snow and we shall expect more to come!

--The bridge in Oronoco will be reopening this Wednesday after being closed by the flood last September.

--Kersten Furs (a store in downtown Rochester) is going to be closing due to retirement come spring time. Kersten Furs has been open for over 91 years selling different fur items.

--Kwik Trip in Lewiston is going to have a re-build sometime in the near future. Kwik Trip will also be moving out to Zumbrota but is still in the early stages of development. They are involved in two big projects here in Rochester as well as a large project in Byron.

--Trader Joes and Chuck E Cheese pizza are now open close to the Apache Mall.

--Subway will be taking over the old BP Pump N Much location on 37th Street Northwest.

--Think Mutual Bank will be moving to the downtown area right on the corner of First Ave SW.

--Katz’s World Bistro closed their doors last week.

Please stop by the American Red Cross store in the Apache Mall and make a donation to help others who are in need out. Jim Anderson and Samantha Carlson had the pleasure of volunteering some of their time there a week ago and had a blast seeing everyone’s smiling faces this holiday season!
